Let’s Get Started: PRONOUNS

There are many different approaches to learning a new language. I believe that one of the easiest ways to become fluent in a language is to first learn the verbs and conjugations that are most used in dialect and then fill in the holes with vocabulary.

I will be giving you some of the most commonly used verbs with their conjugations. When I give you a verb, I will give you the past, present, and future tense of the verb. There are many tenses in Farsi, but for now, sticking with three tenses will be fine until we become more advanced. Here is some background knowledge on verb conjugations, the following are the pronouns to go with the verb conjugations:

Singular:                   Plural:

“Man” means I        “Ma” = we

“Toh” means you      “Shomah” = you formal or you plural

“Ou” = he/ she/it    “Onhah” means they
